Book Development
The Commission as part of initiatives to ensure the availability of relevant and appropriate curricular and instructional materials and improved the quality of tuition in nomadic schools carried out the task of reviewing its curriculum in line with the reviewed National Curriculum. This is also part of efforts to engender the effective implementation of NEP.
The review exercise covered the following subject areas namely; Mathematics, English Studies, Basic Science and Technology, Social Studies, Religious and National Values, Cultural and Creative Arts, and Pre-Vocational Studies.
In furtherance of the desire to provide children with qualitative textual materials for quality basic education, 188,000 copies of the developed curricular, pupils text and teachers guide have been produced and distributed to all nomadic schools in the country.
