The National Commission for Nomadic Education organized a three-day Professional Capacity Development Workshop for School Based Management Committees, Field Level Extension Staff, Zonal Directors and Women Desks Officers NCNE Staff and Stakeholders for the effective implementation of the Nomadic Education at NUT Endwell Conference Hotel, Mogadishu, Kaduna, 20th – 22nd September, 2016.

The workshop drew participants from broad spectrum of stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Nomadic Education Programme (NEP) including the Executive Secretary, National Commission for Nomadic Education (NCNE) Professor Bashir H. Usman, NCNE Management Team, the representative of the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Kaduna State, Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board, representatives of Pastoral NGOs including; Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Confederation of Traditional Livestock Herder Organizations in Africa (CORET), The Pastoral Resolve (PARE), AL-HAYAH, NCNE Zonal Directors, Women Zonal Desk Officers, Extension Agents, Officials of School Based Management Committees (SBMC’s) from 22 States of the federation.
